THE FIREBRAND TEAM
Firebrand’s founding partners are Andrew Smith and Andy Booth.
Both have worked extensively on the client and consultancy sides of the insights business and use their experience to bolster and sustain your commercial performance with top quality insight.
The combination is powerful, but that’s not all…
Firebrand has a truly excellent range of sector and method specialists that form carefully selected project teams to satisfy customer requirements and budgets alike. Many of these Associates are members of the Independent Consultants Group, a network of 400 ‘best-in-the-business’ experts chaired by Andrew Smith for five years.
Andrew has worked in the research business for over 30 years, after several years in the travel business. Prior to launching his own consultancy in 2004, Andrew led major service sector client accounts at agencies including TNS, ORC and GfK. Clients respect him as a senior advisor, equally at ease talking to staff, customers and senior management.
Andrew had the honour of chairing the 400 strong Independent Consultants Group (ICG) for 5 years, and now organises its London events. The ICG is a network of leading MR consultancies based in the UK and globally. Firebrand works with other exceptionally talented ICG members as our associates as projects demand.
Outside of work Andrew is often spotted walking and cycling around the local Surrey Hills; he is also on a mission to re-invent his local Rotary Club to be a more active force in the local and global community.
Andy has 32 years of research experience gained across agency, consultancy and blue-chip client-side assignments in the airline business.
He is a service-sector specialist and focuses principally on the transportation, travel and logistics areas.
Andy is a firm believer in ‘horses for courses’ and is flexible and creative in his approach to customer challenges – within an over-arching requirement to produce direction of real commercial value.
When not involved in Firebrand business, Andy torments his family with tune-free guitar, walks with the spaniel and puts beer money into the coffers of Harlequins RFC.
