Intertanko: design of a new core-value proposition for members

Intertanko is the industry association representing the interests of independent tanker owners worldwide.  The organisation has 204 full members who own and operate over 3000 oil, chemical and gas carriers.

Knowing of our experience in maritime issues and marine research, we were approached to help the Association drive the design of a core-value proposition (CVP).

Together with the INTERTANKO team we designed and undertook a dual-phased global qualitative and quantitative programme to provide strategic guidance for INTERTANKO’s main governing bodies, MD and Secretariat, about how to describe the value the association offers to its members.

The results and recommendations of our survey have been influential in establishing a CVP supported by the Association’s members.
